I understand that Eric is aware of the discussions on this forum, without prejudicing himself further could he not post a clarification as the UKIP website is utterly useless on the point.
gc's point about Latvian pole dancers (Polish lat dancers?) is valid. What exactly is meant by bringing the party into disrepute? I don't know the final outcome of the Tom Wise affair, but it strikes me that there is an element of double standards involved.

Anthony Butcher: Walk into any store and you will see notices stating, 'Thieves will be prosecuted'. You are not prosecuted as a thief, but as a suspect. Surely, that notice offends against the presumption of innocence? I asked Clark to surrender his chairmanship tomorrow, because he is being investigated, and, more importantly, can follow a precedent which he has accepted for others. I doubt if Clark will be 'in place' much longer'.
