I have added Clive Page on there. My reasoning is that Annabelle mentioned an unworkable relationship with close colleagues, whom I presume to be Clive. Given that Farage has assisted her so closely in her move away from the party, I also assume that he has sided with her, rather than Clive, and thus Clive's days are numbered. Perhaps not in the immediate blood letting, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him eased out. Of course it will actually be because he has found a better job somewhere, or is moving house, or wants to spend time with his family.
Sounds like the party is turning over a new Page!

What about Mike Nattrass, for the heinous crime of borrowing one of Nikki's swimsuits?

Christopher Gill - will decide that he has been used to give credibility to a rigged MEP selection process and will quit UKIP

Douglas Denny - will be reprimanded for posting on this forum and having watched Eric Edmond and others be disciplined for doing their job, will flip out, become Nigel's fiercest critic and will enter a civil union with GLW

Bob Spink - probably wondering what sort of travelling circus he has attached himself to. Will finish his days as an independent MP.

The fantasising here is amazing to behold.

I am about to writ a 'swan song' for my posts on the forum - not because of any reprimand (no one would bother to dare as they know they would be ignored) - but because I am fed-up with it.

I think the flight of the wild goslings sums it all up. There is no way that they would have all decided to leave of their own free will without a subtle hint or 2 being made at the conference. Douglas, you leave because you have to. The party is now ruled by a supreme soviet that owes no allegiance to rules or procedure and will tell people what they should think or do.

and another one bites, and another one bites, and another one bites the dust!

That leaves Independent UKIP and Mark Croucher as two Nigel supporters who didn't get the telegram!

Actually I was largely neutral on the matter. I strongly dislike the BNP, but can't work myself up into the faux outrage that senior UKIPpers use as a poltical stick to attack fellow members with.

Farage however, was absolutely in favour of bringing David Abbott onto the NEC and vouched for him personally, despite the protests of Richard Suchorzewski (who was very much against Abbott's admission). I sided with Farage in the end and trusted his judgement IIRC.

So presumably you think that Farage was condoning links to the BNP?

As for summarily expelling people for having once given a very small amount of money to a BNP affiliate organisation... he wasn't even a member. Forgiveness is a virtue, witchhunts are for the small minded.

It's a bit rich condemning Abbott for donations etc. to AmRen when Mote (number 2 on the MEP list at short notice last time) not only founded the extremely right-wing ITS group in the EP, but also has members of the ind-uk list wishing he was still in UKIP.

Still, better that Abbott and others are pilloried for past associations. That way it detracts from the reminders re Titford's and Nattrass's past membership of the New Party...
