I never put a time limit on him staying as Leader but I still feel like I should continue to call for him to go.

Making the call for him to go from now until next June is what I would really like to do but I will hold off in the event that there is a miracle and UKIP is saved by having some MEPs elected in June.

This holding off is not done to help Farage, but to help UKIP a little.

Deep down we knew he would be bad for the party.

It looks like Farage is arranging a massive legal financial **** up with the promotion of andreasen breaking all the rules. The present 'cunning plan' is for her to register f or a few weeks in a bedsit in Paddington near Campbell aka Campbell Bannerman as proof of her UK 'residency.'This will fall foul of the law and could lead to a threat to any UKIP elected MEP.

Who would replace him? Is there another Tory boy waiting in the wings?

Angels and ministers of grace preserve UKIP! (I know the quote says "us", but I'm not a member any more)

Default UKIP has to change

The June 2009 European elections are a great opportunity to align the anti-EU movement with love of England. Mr Farage for whatever personal reasons does not wish to play the English card. Nothing to stop former or present UKIP members doing so.

If UKIP perform poorly next June in the European elections, it will be very bad news for the anti-EU campaigners (of whom I am one). It might take the anti-EU movement many years to build itself up even to the present credibility and resources of UKIP.

Some UKIP members seem very like those Labour MPs wanting to get rid of Brown, but refusing to act. Short term pain hurts now, but a long term gain endures.

I agree with your general sentiments, however, there is no reason for UKIP not to reform once the present leadership has gone. Constituency parties will be untouched and they are the root of any UKIP strength - although it is important not to act hastily to ensure that whatever changes are made are supported by the majority.

I certainly believe that the eurosceptic parties should act in alliance, perhaps not contesting a seat where another eurosceptic party is stronger.
