Thanks chikrodah. I am honoured that you consider me in such high esteem.

How very predictable.
I didn't deliberately do it in conference week. I apologise for doing so actually. I just don't see anything coming out of UKIP that encourages me to continue my membership and felt the need to express myself: I've been keeping my deepest concerns and criticism out of the public domain for years now.

As for predictable, I think you will find that no-one would have thought I would resign. I've stuck out for a long time.

Indeed. Thank you for all your support over the years and your kind words.

Thank you Doug.

This implies a transition from the most anti-EU party in British politics to the most pro-EU party in British politics. Some change. Some thoughts. Some confusion?
On your part, I think. I meant the continuing Liberal Party, not the Liberal Democrats.

The most depressing thing for me of all, is the unthinking, moronic, tribal voting that most in the country engage.
A very enlightened approach. I too am worried about the lack of rational thought in the country. It is a good and brave thing to change your mind. On the issue of the EU, however, no fear: I am still very much against British membership of the EU.

Thanks Doug and again, I agree. It's important for people to scrutinize the political process and to take interest in our elected overlords.

Indeed, I would have. However I can't recall UKIP, as an institution, ever taking notice of my advice on technical issues though. With the exception of our joint document, of course. Let's see how much that is taken note of from now on...

Until that attitude changes, UKIP are going nowhere...
Absolutely. However I must say that I haven't had much of that kind of thing come my way.

It was nice being one of your comrades, too, Kernow.

The idea of world government does indeed concern me very much. I didn't say that I will be joining the Liberal Party. I have yet to make up my mind. If I do join them, assuming I am welcome to join, I will certainly campaign against the party furthering any such aim.

I enjoyed working with you on that project, something most branches haven't done. Thanks for the compliments, much appreciated.

Absolutely. We may disagree on some things but I've the utmost respect for the hard work you did for the party.

I have little hope that things will change which is why I have now taken this step. I hope I am mistaken.
