700 delegates over 3 days? I wasn't far out with my original estimate on another thread. £571 per delegate is enough to pay for a UKIP PPC in each constituency at the next GE. Hopefully those who have spent that much on a conference will spend that much to register their nominations as PPCs.

Rubbish! Even the local whores aren't aware there's a conference on this week.

If there are, say, 800 delegaes, how can each have a spend of £500???

Ludicrous. I used to run bigger conferences for the Young Conservatives alone.

I'm terrible at counting people, but I would estimate about 400 to 500 yesterday. There definitely seemed to be more than last year.

To be perfectly honest I'd be very careful who you listen too if that is typical of the information that they are giving you.

There were marginally just under 700 there so for someone to suggest to you about 250 would intimate that they are either pulling your leg or are a professionaL troublemaker.

2) How would I prove anything to you even if I wished too?
3) If you'd gone you could have satisfied yourself rather than rely on me telling you!
4) Are you seriously asking me if I mean a different 700 people each day?

I am not bothered if you believe me or not but as you are normally such a stickler for the truth and weren't there yourself then you may have to depend on my counting rather than the ultimately inaccurate fantasy wishes of your pony tailed whacko friend whose posted estimate fell so far short of reality.

I'm sorry that you both will be so disappointed at the eventual quite reasonable attendance figures.
