Unhappy Greg Beaman resigns as candidate and RO...

I have spoken to Greg Beaman this am:
  • He has resigned as MEP candidate. He says he felt he wouldn't be able to achieve what he wanted to, politically.
  • He has also resigned as RO.
  • He has every confidence in the integrity of the election.
His membership is up for renewal in October, and he will be "mulling things over" whilst on holiday...

He's "mulling things over" to the extent that he's removed every link to UKIP and every mention of UKIP from his websites and blog.

It's as though his association with UKIP never existed.

IIRC, he's still listed as RO on the UKIP website.

But also as one of the "withdrawn" candidates, as posted elsewhere...

Wow...

I wonder what made him change his mind to the extent that he decided to give up his place on the list, and resign as RO?

Perhaps something came out in his police check so he had no choice, purely speculation on my behalf.

Are you serious mr?

Get with the programme,Farage has now upset even more of those in charge of the inner workings of UKIP.

There is a chance that as long as he stays more and more bits will fall off the UKIP machine, after all,he's only had the shout for two years and the party has lost about 50% of its members many of them good and experienced activists as well in my opinion, how long before the wheels fall completely off this jalopy?

UKIP dont need a Dictator running the party and ignoring its NEC and membership, therefore it dosent need a Farage type leadership.

Farage+Subsidiarity= Farage is now an outright EU Reformist.

If police check fine, then causes start to narrow. Threat of broken arm ? blackmail on private life ? Big back hander to buzz off ? Offer of a luxury staff job in Brussels ? It starts to get interesting. Bored ? excited by the unknown ? Make life exciting , be an MEP candidate and see what happens.

I like to think he was simply principled and decided the corruption at the heart of UKIP was not for him. Plus I gather, but no proof, Nigel said he would remove him from the top position?

GLW thinks so. What is the point of coming top in your region if some southern ponce can remove you?
