The only way you could make that claim is that 300 people have tendered their forum resignations. I have no wish to engage in petty squabbling but it seems because I refuse to engage in speculation, innuendo I'm frequently subject to attack by this sites own, self proposed political elite.

I'm afraid my father always taught us to defend ourselves. If the moderators believe that such a poll is not valid given my reasoning so be it. You will note of course that I have challenged GC over his blatant lie, but there has been no response.

I have randomly scrolled through the membership list but haven't come across any resignations, I take it the green turns another colour when someone resigns.

The active members at the bottom of home page used to be close to 2600.

M people move on. One site i was involved in had over a thousand members, the site was revamped and slumped to a couple of hundred. It then built up again.

How about addressing the problem that Ukip, the leading eurosceptic party, can only get a couple of percentage points at bye elections and it needs to be in the high teens to make the remotest difference to our relationship with the EU.

It's been going steadily down - perhaps the revamp required is that negative comments are allowed only if they are followed by a constructive alternative.

I address that point frequently where it matters on the street. Unless UKIP engages with the public we will get no where fast, forums for some of us are just a nice distraction from our daily lives, not an obsession, which they appear to some, which you would have noticed I'm sure that my posts come in clusters.

Absolutely and doing the same thing over and over again ( even if with different people) will achieve the same results.

It is time UKIP was cleaned up starting at the top.
