The battle to retain the £ will last as long as the EU and the Euro exist .

Tim now there's a dilemma, if I say no it reduces the odds on it being someone else, so I can't really comment. Suffice to say my main concerns addresses to you centred around other aspects of the site.

Having given time for proofing, and having forewarned David Sinclair, I will be posting my thoughts on the site later this weekend.

Ten years ago we were educating people in the 1999 Euro-election to, 'VOTE AT THE POUND SIGN', and for a first attempt, the message was well received. It would be madness, to change the £-sign with less than a year to the next euro-election.

Remember what Aristotle once said, ' All change is decay'

As most of our support comes from the over fifties I don't see a problem! It would have to be a pretty shallow person who wouldn't vote for a party because they didn't like the Logo!

Michael makes a valid point for the future but as GC says there is less than a year left and the message is substantively the same for 2009.
