Default Is the man at the top responsible?

Who else has drawn the obvious conclusions from the following:-
1.Leaks from the NEC to GLW
2.Key members of this forum critical of UKIP
3.High profile resignations from UKIP in recent years
4.15,000 + members who have resigned or not renewed their membership
Nigel Farage is increasingly like all politicans, whose careers end in failure. He is clearly in denial about his part in UKIPs steady decline and increased irrelevance.

It's the dishonest devious lying people who post on sites like this with one intention only, to harm the party. UKIP's membership to December 2007 was just 22 down on 2006. If other areas are recruiting members as Swindon is then we should be up this December.

Bob? If you are not prepared to provide evidence of both their existence and dishonesty, deviousness, etc., may I suggest that you either retract your claim or clarify that your post is purely your opinion and should not be interpreted as a public broadcast on behalf of Swindon UKIP.

chikrodah, Take this as a once and for all comment, I have no intention of playing your childish games. As has been commented previously, if one posts without reference to another by definition it is ones own view or opinion.

Thank you Bob, for clarifying that, whenever you post without reference to another, it is purely your own view or opinion.

No doubt the targets of your opinions, including Spon, Aardvark, Anthony and Geoffrey (all of whom have been corrected by you or told, in various ways, to "get over it" whenever they post something you disagree with) will be delighted to know that they are merely countering your opinions, rather than refuting facts regarding UKIP.

No doubt, also, your stated intent to report Geoffrey for disciplinary action is another opinion rather than a fact.

Eh! ?

UKIP party membership = 15000+

If above statement true,
i.e. 15000+ members resigned or not renewed membership,
then total number of members = zero = no UKIP.

shom mishtake shourly?

Obvious conclusion: you are daft or can't count.

DED.

30,000 people join UKIP over 10 year period. 15,000 currently members. 15,000 have not renewed, resigned or died, or do we become immortal on joining UKIP?

It's called the churn. People come and go. It happens to all political parties. It's cause for comment if the number leaving exceeds the number joining over a sustained period, although membership drops between major elections are normal for all parties. Some branches thrive, others stagnate, others disappear completely.

The real issue will be the number of activists UKIP has about March next year when people will be needed to cough up funds and distribute leaflets. I don't expect that any of us could hazard even a reasonable guess at what that figure might be as so many things could happen.

A week is a long time in politics.

The buck always stops at the top.

I understand NF is planning to join the freedom fighters in Georgia - if he is dithering, assure him it is the right thing to do.

Thank you yes you are right the party was around 29,000 when I was office manager in Birmingham.

Prehaps Douglouse could lead the men in suits to tell Nigel the game is up( I don't think!!!) Douglouse, Bob FM and Co are destined to go down with the sinking ship!!!

It would be interesting during election times to know which party these people actually put their cross against!
