Default Ground Hog Day

I Joined this forum on the 9/1/2005 after fighting the 2004 elections, like many on here we were all enthusiastic including the owner of this forum.
At the time we fought dissent from the likes of Nigel Garage telling him he was wrong and he was bringing the party down (and we knew better).
Through this forum after the elections we decided to meet up (amazing that UKIP members from around the country could meet to share experiences, Power of the forum) when we did meet up we all realised we suffered from the same problems(single issue) we decided as a group to TRY and help the party realise this and formed the Lechlade group which was pretty much well received by the membership our ideals were to get members together and pass their message up to the leadership, no power play, no party division just grass roots members trying to pass on the message they were receiving on the ground. The result was we were seen as trouble causers and malcontents. This was completely wrong as we only had the parties best interest at heart (we didn't spend time and money just to **** the leadership off).

The reason i write this post is because it is just like Ground hog day the very people that slag us off for trying to bring the message to the leadership will be the very people that having delivered thousands of leaflets stood in several elections spoke to hundreds of people will be saying exactly the same as what they accuse us of now.

Cliche coming up.... voters do not like divided parties.

If we don't get our act together and reach some sort of mid-way agreement or at least stop the bickering then we are doomed at the Euro Elections and doomed to save our country from a totalitarian superstate and zero sovereignty.

I wish some people would realise this but they seem content in mudslinging at the leadership (look where that got Labour) and fragmenting the anti-EU cause by joining other minority parties.

The UKIP is the biggest anti-EU party out there. We have seats in the Commons, Lords and the EU Parliament for crying out loud. There is NO TIME for a new party like the Libertarians to make ground before it is too late, we CAN'T AFFORD to divide and splinter the cause by all going separate ways. We need to pull together in the UKIP direction since this is the only hope and the best chance of getting the message across to the public.

Nigel Farage isn't going to be party leader forever. What would you do if we got a great new leader who injected life and optimism into the party, and our results improved? Would you come crawling back?

We need to be united NOW or watch our country collapse around us whilst we argue and members leave the party.

Your choice

More democracy. Then more still. It is what the other big parties can't and dursn't offer.

For your information i wont come crawling back because i haven't left.
If you think your average voter knows or even cares about UKIPs internal problems you are mistaken, i know UKIP members who don't know.

Most people think UKIP is a one trick pony and would never vote for it in a general election which is the real election we must win.

Then we will have to change that won't we, when does Farage's leadership end?
You also can't 100% blame the leader, it is the people on the ground and our elected representatives who can also make a big difference to public opinion.

I think the campaigning is pretty weak. It seems to completely revolve around the EU so that is one thing that must change.
