Amendment 11 Nigel Farage on behalf of the IND/DEM Group Christopher Heaton-Harris, Roger Helmer, Daniel Hannan, Martin Callanan, Syed Kamall Why is only one IND/DEM group MEP named? Is it that the tories do not want to be associated with UKIP, but they are happy to be named alongside Farage? These are the self-same tories with whom Farage is said to be negotiating a new parliamentary grouping in 2009. If you are on speaking terms with your MEP and ask them if they were even consulted about this little alliance forming. Read the amendment itself - it would be quite acceptable to tories, but absolutely not to UKIP. Farage is clearly repositioning himself, isn't he! |

I can see a lot of UKIP members such as myself caring.
However Farage has my trust. He shares the same anger towards the EU as myself, he would be acting in Britain's best interest.

The others being listed because either they sit as independents (notably Heaton-Harris and Helmer) or are going against their Euro-Party's message?

It is reported that Derek Clark told the East Midland Committee that several parliamentary seats will not be fought by UKIP in the next G.E. Those which are anticipated to be 'left to others', seem overwhelmingly to favour the Conservatives. At first sight, this may be the practical expression of BOO. On the other hand, it may result from financial or manpower pressures. A few relevant questions need answering before MEPs', or indeed anyone elese, start to formulate these sort of strategies of their own volition. These matters are for the NEC to decide, and those decisions must be compatible with their need to co-exist with AUTONOMOUS local branches.
BOO, must only be applied if the Conservatives agree to the need for reciprocity. We cannot be expected to accommodate them, without an identifiable benefit to ourselves. Without such a benefit, that sends a clear message to the electorate that we are contracting. Any Conservative candidate who supports the admission of Turkey into the EU, falls at the first fence. We are in the business of extricating ourselves from the EU. Other countries must make their own decsions without any help from us. Always remeneber, 'The Tories took us in, kept us in, and made us citizens of the EU', Tories are not our natual ally. |

An alliance with traitors would split UKIP, Farage is playing a dangerous and silly game. If the Tories have problems understanding the message here it is again NO to the EU leave now if they don't like it because they have their snouts in the trough then tough we should fight them if Nigel doesn't like it then shut the door behind you as you leave Nigel - do not rely on The CONservative party to help you
