Needless to say, there are many Gay Masons, some senior officers in the Craft.

At a meeting last year a very wealthy Grand Officer informed me that he was covering his vintage Bentley with pink ribbons in preparation for the London Pride Parade.

His American boyfriend subsequently presented him with a richly bejewelled sword for ceremonial use at Masonic gatherings.

I have been informed that Robin was NOT treated badly.

Unfortunate that it is, Robin was actually given special dispensation after the cut-off date for his application forms with signatures to go in, but they did not arrive in reasonable time and in spite of phone calls to express urgency still did not manage it. There had to be a cut off somewhere for the posting of candidates/hustings etc to proceed, and he left it far too late.

It is bitterly regretted by many people that he did not get onto the list. He would have been excellent - Robin Page is one of the stalwarts of anti-EUism, and recognised as a fine orator - as well as being a great 'character' well known and loved by the GBP.

I won't identify the brother in question but mobile homes and horses may bring him to mind.

I think the brother is known to me as one who lives in the Forest.

One does not need to be a Mason of course to extend charity and fraternity.
If a brother human has adversity visiting him(her), and his calamities call for our aid, we should cheerfully and liberlally stretch forth the hand of kindness, to save him from sinking and to relieve his necessities.
