I know nothing of the issues between Peter Reeve and Robin Page apart from what I have read here.
But those calling for Peter Reeve to be disciplined are surely forgetting something. He will have a good defence, namely: "I was only obeying orders" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

So that should stop the "God/Voices/Leader made me do it" defence

That defence was ruled out of order at the Nuremberg Tribunal. Last edited by Mikeuk; 11-07-2008 at 04:11 PM. |

In your opinion. Has he been active in Branch affairs? Has he recruited lots of new members? What has he done for UKIP in the 4 years since he last appeared on a UKIP MEP List? I know Peter Reeve (and Lisa Duffy) were at Henley for example, did Page turn up? Has he been at any by-election campaign anywhere in the past four years. What had he done positively to show he gives on-going support to the party rather than pop up at MEP time? in your opinion again. May 19th was advertised as the closing date for nominations for months in advance. Was he in hospital all that time? Why did he expect Reeve to do his donkey work for him? If he's too self important to do it now just imagine what a self important MEP he would make. Spare us from C List Celebrities with egos the size of Mars. |
