I think you'll find that that changed when legislation got passed last year which allowed 18 year olds to stand in local and national elections.

I see tha Tim Worstall admits he was'reeled into the party' by Annabelle Fuller. Can anyone tell us more. I understand that there are personal and business connections to Nigel Farage and that this person only joined the party two weeks ago.

Why wouldn't that surprise me Resigned Member?

Perhaps I should change my name to Lapsed Member. There seems to be a growing number of ex-members, for whatever reason.

Have Philip Vander Elst and Rachel Tingle left the Selsdon Group, membership of which requires Tory Party membership?

Who exactly are Anuruddha Gunavardhana, & Paul Wiffen.?????????

No doubt 2 parachutists we've never heard of in Wales, while Wiffen must be a sky-diver - he's in Scotland as well

Carpet baggers both

The NE list was undersubscribed. Mr Farage told Mr Allison to put his name forward for the NE or else. Mr Allison had no choice but to comply.

Marion Mason came over to UKIP in January after Peter Reeve promised her a place on the MEP list. Mr Reeve later interviewed her as part of the MEP selection process. It is hardy surprising to see her on the list.

Interesting process. Each regional list contains one or two names known to UKIP members. The rest consists of unknowns not likely to split the vote and thus deny the chosen ones a seat.

Is this not the Andrew Smith who cost the party £18,000?

Is this not the Michael Baker who is an independent councillor and would not stand for UKIP for fear of not getting in?

Is this not the Marion Mason who was promised to go on the list if she defected from the Tory's?
