Although there was a token nod to 'merit' in the statement, much of it was talking about 'encouraging' more women, 'not doing enough', 'finding more ways', 'failed women', 'aim for 50%' etc. If that isn't PC talk for trying to introduce positive discrimination, I don't know what is.

I am just not sure that Spink understands what UKIP is supposed to be about, unlike Godfrey Bloom who said it all: "Positive discrimination is still discrimination, so selection on the basis of sex or race is indeed sexist or racist".
