Has Tom Wise decided to tell all he knows about Titford in order to get a lighter fine/sentence? As I said on another post eagle seems to have inside knowledge on Titford and Gulleford. Apparently, Wise said that he would take others with him if found guilty.

I feel that with this hanging over their heads both Titford and Gulleford should resign. Both are clearly tainted. Let Robin Page do the last year. He would make a good MEP. But please Robin stay whiter than white! Don't allow the money to go to your head. We need honesty not another Wise or Titford!

Hulkman: Don't jump to conclusions, it is NOT Wise. Just let it evolve as all will be made clear. As I said last week, there is also one of our 'less charismatic' MEPs', who will be given considerable publicity very shortly. Soon is to dawn the day of nemesis for the UKIP membership.

Peter Cole has denied Tom Wise has spilled the beans. That's if PeterC is the same as Mr Cole.

I still think Mr Wise is involved.

• More bad news for our very occasional film critic, Tom Wise MEP, who has been on police bail since June, when he was arrested on suspicion of obtaining money by deception. Despite protesting his innocence the agony continues, for last week the MEP, who speaks for the East of England, was further bailed. Nothing will now be settled until next February at least. A lesser man would be downhearted, and certainly folk in that part of the country may think ill of being represented for seven months by the subject of a police investigation. But so long as can continue watching more films on our behalf, what is the problem?
