East Midlands UKIP MEP wannabee Steve Allison used to receive regular monthly payments of one thousand pounds. These payments originated from the office of one J.Titford MEP.
Was Mr Allison paid this for work carried out in the Eastern Region? No. Why did Mr Titford use EU funds to pay Mr Allison? Mr S.Gulleford knew about this misuse of EU funds and yet kept silent. Why? |

It seems to me that eagle clearly has inside information. Has Tom Wise decided to spill the beans in order to get his own back? Has he done it in order to get a lighter sentence?
The is now a big question mark hanging over Chelmsford. I feel that perhaps Titford should stand down and let Robin Page do the last year. I hear that Titford is ill anyway. We can't allow the party to become corrupted or have our name dragged through the mud. I really feel that UKIP should forget the Euros as becoming an MEP clearly has a corrupting influence. |

Eagle: I know that it angers members when I tell them that financial irregularities are endemic to the Party; but we must accept that as fact. I think that you will find that Titford's payments to Allison are minor parts of the Titford/Gulleford saga.
In UKIP, the members loyalty has been conditioned into a permanent state of denial. As a consequence, internal change has become impossible, we must now rely wholly on external agencies: that process is now well under way. The enthusiastic cheer leaders, have prevented an open discussion on the central question of controlling the leadership. The leadership has contracted even more, with not even the NEC being anything more than a token assembly of management. We are in for a hard time over the coming days, and we should decide what we want to do. In the same way that during the Second War, when everything was going wrong, plans were being made for the Post War world. That is what UKIP must do, leave the police, OLAF, and the other agencies, free to do their work, while we consider what kind of Party will UKIP be when it's all over. Those unfortunates, who have no idea of our history, and current actual problems, yet bombard us incessantly with their ludicrous denials, destroy the necessary climate for self-renewal. |

Come on BobFM! I hardly think that he or she is going to do this if a police and Olaf investigation is underway. He or she clearly wants to protect their sources. Why should they tell you or me? We are hardly important although I think that you think you are!

Why would Steve Allison not stand for UKIP MEP in his own backyard,THE NORTHEAST?
It seems very strange to me,besides,it was only yesterday he sent me an email asking/telling us if we wanted to put our names forward for standby candidates in case anyone of the two confirmed Candidates dropped out. I think that the NE had three places available with only two Candidates standing, the closing date has passed now. If Steve Allison has bypassed our Northeast selectionists to stand somewhere else it would seem he has a foot in the door already at that location in the EAST. The mind does start to boggle at times like this because UKIP never ceases to amaze so many of us. |

I would think the reason Mr Allison is not standing in the North East is quite simple mathematics. To get an MEP elected in the North East requires a party to finish in the top three and if third to have more than half as many votes as the party which finishes top.
For example Labour 35% Conservatives 29% UKIP 16% Lib-Dems 12% Others Combined 13% In the North East that would give 2 Labour and 1 Tory MEP. The same result in East Midlands would give 2 Labour, 2 Tory and 1 UKIP. Simple maths |
