Default Who would you vote for

There have been some on this forum who believe Nigel should stand down as UKIP leader and the party has gone no-where since his election as leader.

I didnt vote for Nigel in the leadership elections and depsite leaving the party and joining The Liberal Party I do believe he has done a good job and he is the right man at the moment to lead the party.

However if a leadersip election was called who would you vote for?

Interesting Choice of candidates for leadership. How did you chose these names? Why not include G.Collier? Didn't Del Young bottle out of the contest last time?

Del Young also made a speech recently 'slagging off' the leadership and the NEC. He is a classic, I don't have a problem with my colour, 'honestly guv'.

As a new member I am pretty happy with Farage, he is an excellent orator.

I think Del Young just has a problem with anyone who doesn’t agree with him. Should that actually make him an ideal leader for UKIP?

Has Del actually ever been a Candidate for anything for UKIP?

He pulled out before the start for the Leadership Campaign; I don't know if he has stood in as a Candidate in his local authority Elections? I can't see his name on the PPC list for East Midlands and I don't think he applied to be an MEP Candidate either. So other than the NEC has Del Young actually ever stood for anything? (I suppose I should admit here that I voted for the people I knew who I thought would do a good job, and then I then voted for Del and the women on the list to address any perceived imbalance on the NEC).

The list were names off the top of my head.

Who else do people wish to see on the list?

I agree with the G. Collier suggestion.

From reading his posts he clearly has a thorough understanding of what is wrong with UKIP, and presumably the skill to do things so much more effectively.

To my knowledge Gerard Batten has never suggested he might want the leadership. In fact, he has refused to even stand. He has his reasons, and they are valid.

And yet not for the first time, when the subject is brought out for discussion, Gerard's name is put forward by members.

I hope he changes his mind and stands when the time comes.
