Those of us who are critical of UKIP and its leader do so BECAUSE under Nigel UKIP is never going to save the country in tme if ever. As the situation gets evermore serious as the EU sucks the last breath out of us the criticism of Nigel will increase.
You lot who support the status quo are guilty of aiding and abetting a corrupt, useless and self-serving regime.

I dont understand some people, why stay members of UKIP if all your going to do is complain?

There are other parties out there.

Because every party has to take constructive criticism. If all parties were full of yes-men, there would be no room for future improvement. And boy does UKIP need that at the moment.

HM constructive may be, what we see is personally motivated, destructive comment.

I remain in UKIP to try and change it from within. However the clock is ticking and I give UKIP about 12 months to become more relevant to our struggle to get out the EU. Sadly if things don't change UKIP will become an irrelevance and will go down in history as a Party that promised so much and ended up just like all the rest.

Overlooking your slur against me, it is easy to intend to leave; harder to ignore some of the lies & half-truths that permeate through this forum.

UKIP General Issues attracts little in the way of troubles, unlike the general politics sections, so our eyes are off it. Then half the moderators or more are no longer in UKIP, so they're not likely to be hugely interested in the UKIP General Issues section.

Finally, I stopped reading these posts ages ago because they are generally full of people who won't leave UKIP but will gripe on endlessly.

If you want something done please feel free to send me a private message (I won't claim to speak for the other moderators, so don't send them private messages unless you have to) and ask nicely. If it doesn't get done quickly then don't assume ill-intent, rather assume - correctly - that we are busy people.

I was busy updating the UKIP Henley by-election site, an issue immeasurably more pressing than hypothetical candidates for a hypothetical leadership election not due until after the next European and General elections!
Just for the record I have no objection to your moderating on this or any other topic Alex. I'm sorry, though, that I don't agree with your suggestion that those moderators who are not in UKIP aren't "likely to be hugely interested in the UKIP General Issues section." Anthony & M3 for example make frequent posts in that part of the forum. One of the most controversial posts there recently was created by "Super Moderator" C-Steam. He made a post in which he incorporated a completely false allegation that even Geoffrey Collier doesn't maintain is still gospel truth. Yet he has nothing to say on that topic beyond what I consider to be a couple of posts for his personal amusement. That is not said for you to deal with as a moderator but just my opinion.

One too many "not" Mr Collier. I was of the opinion that you do not maintain that John Moran has a position on the list of UKIP candidates for London region for the European elections. If you do, in fact, maintain that Mr Moran is on the list (which doesn't currently exist, no vote having taken place) then I unreservedly apologise to you.
