Listen to who? Those on here who condemn every decision, every initiative, every attempt to move the party on by dragging up ancient history, publishing rumour and innuendo as fact. He is listening to those who are actively engaged on the ground and he is travelling thousands of miles supporting these people. Why would he want to listen to the likes of GC, GLW, CE etc, etc, they are offering nothing except negativity. We have had another disaster in Henley, and now we will here all the usual recriminations but what will be forgotten is the damage already inflicted by Twizzle and his band of Treason 'nutters', and the lack of constructive support from the branches.

I assume that was a reply to my post, Alex. I'm not going to start an argument but just note that the first suggestion regarding the inclusion of Geoffrey Collier was timed at 4.07pm and was the first reply to the post by Ryansoton which launched this poll. My post regarding the possible inclusion of Mr Collier was posted more than 8 hours after it. I find it hard to believe that none of your fellow forum moderators perused this interesting poll/topic over all that time and beyond. Yet it seems that it was only you who was willing to include Mr Collier in the poll, on Friday morning. And for good reason as at time of writing he has 5.71% of the total vote despite most votes having been cast before his inclusion.

It was indeed a reply to your post. I am fed up with people assuming we've nothing better to do than act on suggestions made in threads in sections we may not even be reading!
UKIP General Issues attracts little in the way of troubles, unlike the general politics sections, so our eyes are off it. Then half the moderators or more are no longer in UKIP, so they're not likely to be hugely interested in the UKIP General Issues section. Finally, I stopped reading these posts ages ago because they are generally full of people who won't leave UKIP but will gripe on endlessly. If you want something done please feel free to send me a private message (I won't claim to speak for the other moderators, so don't send them private messages unless you have to) and ask nicely. If it doesn't get done quickly then don't assume ill-intent, rather assume - correctly - that we are busy people. I was busy updating the UKIP Henley by-election site, an issue immeasurably more pressing than hypothetical candidates for a hypothetical leadership election not due until after the next European and General elections!
