I hope he changes his mind and stands when the time comes.

Note: Gerards name was put forward by me, im not a UKIP member but do believe he is good for the party.

Additional to the post by Barboo, he was a candidate for Hinckley Trinity Ward on Hinckley & Bosworth District Council in 2007. He received, according to my records, 153 votes and a total of 5.01% in a 2 member ward. A Richard Allen who I have assumed is the Richard Allen was the only other UKIP candidate for that Council. He received 4.98% in a 3 member ward. That Council held all-out elections in 2007 so Delroy was not in a position to contest elections for that council in 2006 or 2008. He did not contest any County Council elections in 2005 which is reasonable to me as he was a General Election candidate on the same day.

I agree with other posters that the name of Geoffrey Collier should be added to this poll. What is with the delay moderators? Or is it a refusal?

Alex, I take it that no one can vote twice. I only ask because the protest vote seems already to have gone to Del. It would be such a shame if GC didn't get at least one vote. He would feel unwanted. gimlet of course you can't that is not part of the British voting sytem and whilst we may all want one on GE's it would be unfair.

I've added a "none of the above" option. No-one may vote twice, I'm afraid.
