Default Mr. Farage says Cameron has allegedy said he wouldn't hold EU Constitution referendum

UKIP leader Mr. Nigel Farage said today that David Cameron the pro-EU and anti-UKIP leader of the Conservative Party has allegedly said he would not (if his party forms a Government after the next General Election) hold a retrospective referendum on the EU Constitution/Lisbon Treaty. Mr. Farage criticises the Conservative leader in this report which appears on the official UKIP website:

Not at all suprising. When it comes to the crunch, no backbone, no conviction. Simply sound bytes from the Tories.

It appears I jumped off the Cameron ship just in time, extremely disappointing news.

I suppose that at least he is admitting it now, rather than going into the next set of elections on a false promise. Combine that with the cleaning up of their MEPs and it looks like they are starting to take the EU issue a bit more seriously now. Does anyone else sense the building of a Tory EU strategy/position here?

Well if farage says it then it must be true

Maybe farage is just hoping that as UKIP MEP's are happily sucking at the EU teat for all they are worth.

See? Every time there is a snide comment from someone without the courage to use their real name.

If Cameron has got a European plan it certainly isn't going to appeal to the anti-EU and Eurosceptic Tories (of which I imagine there to be a considerable number.) Let's just hope they take a step in the right direction when they become disillusioned with the spineless politics of Dave the Chameleon.
