'Radical Intervention'? All it did was move jobs around and put some people out of work. What a tosser.

Quote:
[http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/d...7053134.stm]HM Revenue and Customs had originally planned to shut two buildings in the city and move the staff to Nottingham.

Under the new plans, 200 workers will remain in Derby in Northgate House, but another 200 in St James House will move to new locations.

Derby City Council leader Chris Williamson said the decision was a result of the city, local MPs and businesses working together to protect jobs.

He added that the city council was disappointed it could not save all the posts.

Jobs at eight locations across the East Midlands, including Leicester, Mansfield, Melton Mowbray and Alfreton, will be moved to new locations beginning in spring 2008 as part of a nationwide reorganisation.

The Constitution of UKIP clearly states that we are a non-racist non-sectarian party.
If you are a UKIP member it is that to which you subscribe. There must be no ambiguity about that whatever. Every member cannot write their own constitution.

Exclamation Paul Farrelly MP - ****!

It just a bit of sloppy journalistic blogging type prose, but Paul Farrelly MP is in bed with the Communists. See, I know as much as he does!

An absolute buffoon. Luckily it isn't going to persuade many people but we now we know Labour are going to play dirty by telling unfounded and slanderous lies about UKIP.

And congratulations to all the UKIPers in Newcastle-under-Lyme who seem to have had a successful run. Keep ruffling Labour's feathers!

Default Immigration, controls, Lady Thatcher, General Election 1979, electoral, Conservative

Strict immigration controls were proposed by Lady Thatcher (then leader of the opposition) before the 1979 General Election and the Conservatives were subsequently returned to Government in May 1979 on the largest electoral swing the modern Conservative Party has ever secured in any national UK election.

Well said, Britannist.

Someone earlier asked me what planet I was living on, well anyone who denies that Immigration is a major concern to British voters today clearly aren't on this planet.
