Default Mep Hustings - Dorset

MEP HUSTINGS - DORSET

Before you cast your vote come and hear the prospective UKIP MEPs at the Bournemouth International Hotel Priory Road, Bournemouth on Friday the 25th of July at 7 pm. With Graham and Roger retiring in 2009 there will be a new intake to choose from so this will be your chance to see the cut of their jib before making up your mind.

There are 19 candidates of which I am one. Amongst the others are some very fine candidates. There will be a sift after an interview and media test and 8 or 9 will be shortlisted. It is those on the short list who will have the pleasure of appearing at the hustings.

Good luck to all the candidates at both the interview and hustings.

I was wondering how you know how many candidates there are in Dorset and who they are? Do you know how I can find out who is standing in my region?

I think that's the number of candidates for the entire "South West Region" (Gloucestershire to Cornwall [+ Gibraltar]).

I suggest you contact your local MEP which is Godfrey Bloom, I believe.

Perhaps they should put a list of candidates on the web site, or perhaps thats to difficult.

I suspect that a list will be put up after the sift to shortlist.

At least two candidates hail from Dorset, Rollo Reid and myself. Beyond that I do not know.
