Default Thank You

Many thanks to the organiser/s of last nights meeting at Nantwich Football Club.
It's obvious a lot of work has been put into the campaign at Crewe and Nantwich, even though time has been very short. This kind of effort deserves praise.
Whether we win or not, at least UKIP has put up a good show.

Yep. fair points, I hope UKIP does well, and we'll soon see.

Congrats on the 100 not out, by the way.

Was you there?
I was the guy who asked Mike about the importance of young people in the party.

Can you give an estimate on how many people turned up for this meeting Rosie/Earthling?

I always find it difficult to estimate these kind of things but I would think somewhere around 70-80.

Just on the question of young members, I'm not aware of any presence by Young Independence. Can anyone confirm if they have done anything for this campaign as I did see a lot of young men wearing Conservative Future T shirts in Crewe and this kind of campaign is where our younger members would make a good impression.

I think the one thing in my limited experience of UKIP is the left/right hand syndrome. I offered to help in Crewe, got a very nice reply saying someone would be in touch, and despite a follow-up phone call, ziltch. Lets hope in Henley we can do better. The House of Lords vote on Article 48 should be a major plus for us.

I helped out at the campaign on saturday. Would have done more but was the only day off I have had recently with starting a new job for the summer. Other young members also have exams as well as part time jobs at this time of year so was difficult to encourage people to come along to help.

I don't know if a date has been set for Henley, but hopefully it will be after everyone has finished exams and coursework deadlines etc. Also my shift pattern will have settled so I can plan on helping out with more of my time.

There was a few there from Young Independence but probably no more than 5, they spoke to me after the speech
