I haven't see the paper yet, but if this is a few lines on an inside page it's not much recompense really.
It also needs to appear in the online version of the Times/Sunday Times, and be brought up by the search facility on their website. |

The wording of the SundayTimes is very careful and makes no mention of withdrawing the statements that Farage secretly employed his wife(later confirmed by Farage) and is also being investigated by various authoroties in the EU regarding his expenses etc.
May we fin ally presume that as the News of the World has not been contacted by Farage that he lied when denied he had a session with an Eastern European lady in which he enjoyed his being spanked fetish. |

I am totally opposed to elected representatives employing their relatives purely on the grounds that this can be construed as being a touch dodgey and the public perception of such actions is always quite rightly negative. I feel that regulations or laws should be put in place to make it easier for MPs or MEPs not to even be tempted and all UKIP elected representatives should be seen to be whiter than white on this issue, it's hardly difficult...just don't employ relatives. However I would say that Farage did not make a secret of employing his wife as I read about it at the time as he announced it. |

The wording of the Sunday Times article makes it perfectly clear that they were wrong in saying that Farage employed his son and mistaken in the juxtaposition of the statement that he employs his wife as if to imply that there was something hush hush in this. Which there isn't. They tried to make him out to be a hypocrite, which he isn't. You really must be one of the old guard if you're still going on about the screws article. Clifford had to beg the paper to run that one, it was such a crock of ****. 'enjoyed his being spanked fetish'...was that intentionally written as though English is not your first language? |
