PETWINA, You'll have to ask Foggo, but as I understand it he takes the Murdoch shilling.

Bob FM, Funnily I got the same e-mail - unsolicited of course.

As with all of these allegations the source is very important; don't dismiss the information lightly.

GLW does go off at a tangent and I can identify errors in what he says, but he is a close friend of several key UKIP, and former UKIP, figures having worked with them over the years .... GLW is getting a lot of information from people closer to NF than you or I are....
-
GLW was a friend of several UKIP figures, you mean; and was getting information - and that was a long time ago. Not anymore he isn't.
The only "friends" he has in UKIP now are mainly the known malcontents (e.g. Petrina Holdsworth et. al.) and they don't know much about what is going on anymore. No one else will talk to him.

It became clear to me his sources in the higher echelons of UKIP have dried up on him at least two/three years ago when certain people left the NEC. Also, he has made such a thorough nuisance of himself with anti-UKIP propaganda that he is largely despised within UKIP by those who know of him - certainly so with all those I know, and that is most who are the movers and shakers in the party at the top. His contact(s) are only likely to be at branch level now. That is why he keeps pleading for people to contact him with information - he isn't getting anything substantive now.
It used to be embarrassing that he would give a detailed account of NEC meetings sometimes within hours as clearly he had mole(s) in the NEC - not anymore. They have gone - and good riddance. I know who they were.

I have studied his output for years and archived it until about six months ago when even I got fed up of just monitoring his repetitive drivel (for that is all it was), and it was very clear his output was now severely curtailed in accuracy. It's all filtered out now and I have not been assailed with his rubbish for a good while. It has been much better reading with my e-mails since.
Even before when he had reliable contacts, he still made ridiculous speculation with intent to deceive which destroyed his credibility with those 'in the know' who recognised he was making it up. He has spent hours of obsessive teeth-gnashing over Tom Wise for example to the point of making himself appear manic - as indeed I believe him to be.

The tragedy is: if, as he says, he is genuinely against the EU and all it represents, he could have worked with UKIP at all levels with what talent he has - against the EU instead of directing it at UKIP. All he has done is get up people's backs and prove himself a fool.
His methods follow classsical black propaganda techniques; and I was informed he had (has still maybe?) links to MI5 in the past targeting oddballs through magazine adverts. (This would explain his adept propaganda methods including negative personality attacks on all he can target at the top of UKIP).

The fact that he has spent what amounts to years now attacking UKIP instead of supporting the only party which has any serious and effective anti-EU credibility makes my initial supposition that he has other agendas and alliances to maintain almost a certainty. His alliance with Fogg-o-it for example. I would rather like to know who those other alliances are. I think I have a fair idea, but to have it confirmed would be nice.

I'm tired of getting emails from him, which for sometime I have deleted without opening! The saying , "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", springs to mind. He must be very ,very bitter man!

I always thought it was Farage with an open mobile phone line at the NEC meetings who was letting the cat out of the bag before meetings were through, are you saying this wasn't so DED?

I expect one would need to have two mobiles though to let that happen, wouldn't one?

Many people I know have done what I have done: include GLW's e-mail addresses in the reject filter of your browser, or ISP browser. That way you never see his e-mails as they are never downloaded and you save your poor brain cells from being mugged.

It's a shame really as he does have great talent at being immensely bitter and vocalising it strongly. Pity though it was not directed entirely with heart and soul at the EU - he would have had more of an effect then, and he would have probably been patted on the back for being a jolly good fellow, received a putty medal for 'good works' from UKIP leaders and lauded on stage at the conferences ......
Good Heavens! what am I saying ...... I must be going loopy.... it's all this talk about GLW, it has that effect on you, you know.

The mobile phones angle we have all heard of. It was not necessary and would have been expensive - NEC meetings drone-on for five hours at least.
There were easier methods of informing GLW.
No it was not Nigel. (And what would be the point? - as GLW was always attacking decisions suggested by him).

DD, fingers crossed he has stopped. I think it was that I said I would report him to his ISP if he didn't. He also took to phoning me at exactly the same time, 9.30pm. That smacks of OCD, everything in it's place.
