Default UKIP Law and Order Conference: David Campbell Bannerman

David Campbell Bannerman will be giving a speech on UKIP’s new Law and Order policies. Highlights of his speech will include:

Crime: 5 million crimes a year - or is it really 130 million ?
Why Doubling prisons will work
Police targets and the case for directly elected police boards
Sentences that mean what they say, and why the CPS should be abolished
Freedom of speech under threat
The emerging EU police state.

David will also be taking part in a special Question Time session in the afternoon.

On Saturday, John West, Alison West and Chris Hudson will be speaking at a UKIP meeting in Wootton, near Bedford. The meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall and will start at 10.30 in the morning. John will be promoting the conference and UKIP’s Law and Order policies while Alison and Chris will be talking about the EU Constitution.

The meeting was a great success. John West's summary of UKIP's Law and Order policies was very well received by members. There was general agreement that the Law and Order policy document was excellent and should be heavily promoted by all branches. Chris Hudson spoke about the threat to our national identity and urged all members to continue their support for UKIP. Unfortunately, Alison West was unable to attend the meeting due to a bad cold.

How many people present were not UKIP members?

The meeting was organised by UKIP Mids Beds and was for members in that area. Twenty turned up.

I was simply providing members with a summary of our policies on crime. Are you disappointed that they liked UKIP's Law and Order policies? You can't win with some people.

I was one of those present at the meeting!! It was one of the best presentations I have seen for a long time, and that includes watching Nigel Farage! John and Chris, I hope you both are able to put your names forward and be elected UKIP representatives, please keep up the good work and I hope to be able to listen to you again soon, I will attend the Law and Order conference too.
