Default Received a letter from Farage and free DVD...

My dad, who is not a UKIP member nor any of our family got a letter through today with the EU control dvd and a letter from Nigel Farage.

Anyone else get this?

A bloke down the pub got exactly the same, a good friend of mine and I'm sure he might have signed something in the past, he swears he hasn't but i don't think UKIP are sending this to everybody.

The 'Let The People Decide' petition gathered about 80-100,000 signatures I think, which included names and addresses. Although signees had to tick a box for more information, some UKIP members were ticking the boxes for them.

So what is so terrible about UKIP sending out the Remote control DVD to show people who have not yet realised just how bad the EU is for Britain? I have given them to people who have only been vague acquaintances of friends of friends who didn't even know my name. Many were so stunned by the truth, that they have now joined UKIP. When people get the opportunity see the Remote Control DVD, only the out and out Europhiles will still think that the EU is good for Britain! The Remote Control DVD is in my opinion, by far and away the best way yet produced, to get across just how bad the EU is for Britain!

Going to cost a bit if 80,000 are going to be sent out.

I don't think that anyone suggested it was a terrible idea. I merely suggested a likely source for the addresses and pointed out that rather more people might be receiving them than had signed up for receiving mail.

As we have said before, the DVD is of excellent quality.

No - really I was wondering why these weren't delivered via the local branches.

It would have been far better if the letters had been sent by UKIPs MEP team for the particular region the person lived in rather than just from Farage.

With elections next year lets promote our current MEP campaign teams?
