Stuart Gulleford. Political Advisor to Jeffrey Titford MEP

I’m writing to fill you in on Stuart Gulleford. I am Chairman of Essex CIB and a former member of UKIP. At the end of an Essex CIB meeting in June 2001 Ken Gulleford, with Stuart's full support, ambushed me with a Resolution attacking me over a letter I had written to Lord Stoddart a few months previously suggesting that as he was approaching 75 it was time for him to think of stepping down as CIB Chairman. As I was on the CIB Committee at the time I was able to threaten him with disciplinary action which resulted in him writing grovelling letters to me! He was rude to me again at a CIB meeting in early 2004 so I told him where to get off. A few months later I wrote twice to Jeffrey inviting him to speak at an Essex CIB meeting but I never received a reply. It looks as if CIB's press Officer sabotaged an Essex CIB meeting. Jeffrey had spoken twice before at Essex CIB meetings which had both been successful events. the fact that it was my idea for him to be CIB Press Officer and I campaigned for his appointment makes his behaviour towards me absolutely disgusting.

He announced his resignation as CIB Press Officer at a CIB Committee meeting last summer which apparently turned into a Gulleford rant and rave. This was done in front of CIB's new Chairman, a certain Bob Spink! His rude and offensive behaviour towards members of the CIB Committee in the previous few months may have had something to do with his sudden resignation.

He was rude to me on the basis that I was at odds with Lord Stoddart. Another example of his cowardly behaviour came in early 2001 when he wrote a rude letter to Tony Bennett on behalf of Jeffrey which he knew he could get away with of course. He was UKIP candidate for Brentwood and Ongar in 2005 when he managed to upset the editor of the Brentwood Gazette with , you guessed it, his rude and offensive behaviour! The editorial the week after the election attacked him over this. What a PR Professional this man is!

I think you are being unfair to Mr Davidson. He is simply warning UKIP members about the behaviour of this particular individual.

Stuart 'Just call me the Count' Gulleford wants to be an MEP and will resort to any dirty trick to ensure he gets on that list. Look at the email he got Titford to send to members attacking Chris Hudson and John West over the law and order conference. That was done to to damage their reputation in the east and harm their chances of getting selected as MEPs. Should a paid political advisor to Jeffrey Titford be doing this?

I know and have worked with both Stuart and Donald.

Donald sulks with a minority pressure group.

Stuart is fighting elections and campaigning.

Donald is no longer a UKIP member.

Somebody needs to stand in the naughty corner and grow up.

So you are quite happy that Stuart 'Vlad' Gulleford abused his position and got Titford to attack other party members simply because they wanted to raise UKIP's profile by holding conferences? Was Gulleford miffed because he was not one of the speakers? Gulleford and Titford are in the business of promoting themselves. Period.
