You are talking a lot about Titford but no-one has mentioned that he no longer resides in a Region he is supposed to be working for, perhaps this is why he is seen so little around the 6 counties!

Is that voluntary repatriation or compulsory repatriation?

Rather typical of the Observer not to be clear about the distinction.

Yes. He moved to the south coast last year. This is something else he wants to keep quiet.

More facts, less of the Observer's prejudices please.

I have known and occasionally worked with Mr Gulleford for over eight years. In that time I came to realise that he represented the worst qualities of the career politician. He sees Jeffery's Titford's seat as his right. Indeed, Jeffrey promised him the seat years ago. Gulleford now sees people like West, Hudson and others as a direct threat to that promise. Indeed, he has spread stories about all of them in the hope that mud will stick. The recent Titford email is a classic example of this. He did the same thing in 2004 when Robin Page looked like getting the top slot. A story about Page later appeared in a national newspaper.

However, he never spreads the rumours himself. He always hides behind others and lets them do the dirty work.

That's a very easy accusation to make and a very hard one to defend against. Do you have any proof of your accusations?

1. It is common knowledge that Titford has promised Gulleford the seat. At the last UKIP conference he told members that Gulleford was his successor because "he is a safe pair of hands". Sometime ago Titford did consider standing down because of ill health. Gulleford begged him not to do it as Page would takeover. Gulleford was almost in tears over this and so Titford changed his mind.

2. According to another post on this forum Titford confirmed the email originated from his office. All emails from that office are passed to Gulleford for approval before being sent.Even if it did not originate from him he still would have seen it.

3. Gulleford never seems to realise that his rumours always get back to those in question. I am sure that both West and Hudson would confirm this. Unfortunately I don't think they will be prepared to post conformation of this on the forum. One Suffolk Coastal member told me that West does not want to get involved in mud slinging.

4. The rumours about Page started prior to the 2004 elections. You would only need to ask those who worked at Chelmsford in 2004 to confirm what happened.

Does he not spend much time in Brussels & Strasbourg; his primary places of work? How much time relative to other MEPs of all UK parties does he spend in Brussels and Strasbourg? I realise you many not know the answer to that BTW.
