I have been told Alison is going to put her name forward for the EU elections, I would be pleased to see her as our 1st MEP, it would also be good for the Eastern Counties to have both Alison and John West as MEP's, they both work extremly hard!!

Further information.

Letters published in the Brentwood Gazette 11/5/5

As a member of UKIP I am writing to dissociate myself from Stuart Gulleford's intemperate attack on the Gazette at the candidates hustings. If he has an issue with the Gazette he should raise it privately or in letter.

Donald Davidson

I must correct an error in last week's Gazette. In my speech at Brentwood School I did not at any time mention the Brentwood Gazette by name or any other local paper.

Stuart Gulleford.

Editor's Note: From other correspondance we have received from Mr Gulleford there can be no doubt to whom he was referring.

Now you know why the Gazette is not very keen on UKIP. Thanks Stuart! Keep up the good work! What a PR man!

Something fishy going on here. Donald Davidson is a famous American philosopher, yet here we have somebody claiming to be him while most unphilosophically indulging in petty personal vendettas against fellow eurosceptics. I put it to you that the so called Donald Davidson quoted in this thread is nothing but an impostor! He probably isn't even American!

DD died in 2003. It's likely that it's just someone with the same name. Neither name is rare, Davidson is somewhat common.

There we are, then! If the real Donald Davidson is dead, the one quoted here must be an impostor!

Hah! "Coincidence" again. That's what they want you to believe...

This Donald Davidson is the Chairman of Essex CIB. This name is quite common and was not copyrighted by the Donald Davidson who died in 2003! Look in any phone book. There are loads of D. Davidson's. It is hardly a rare name.

Alex McKee: When you said that DD had died in 2003, I was very worried for a moment.
The other DD has looked very apparitional of late.
