I haven't enjoyed a day so much in ages. I just can't choose who to laugh at the most.

The BNP throwing all their toys out of the pram or the Tories spitting out the dummy.

Quality entertainment. Quality.

No. Like I said, there will be tough competition.

I've just rejoined online. Was planning to anyway but today's news gave me the encouragement I needed. Been a member on and off since 1995, and whatever the Party's faults they're the only one whose policies I fully support (except the opposition to the smoking ban, that's the one good thing Labour has done!).

He's certainly not UKIP - this is what he wrote on the forum the other day:

"I DO want a single united states of europe."

(posted by 'The Bear' to the thread titled "The UKs vanishing way of life" at 10.49 am on 19.4.2008)

He is also a fan of that old favourite of europhiles (particularly the Liberal 'Democrats') - "electoral reform". He wrote (in the thread titled "Fair comment in the Sun" at 2.48 pm on 21.4.2008) that he favoured the "introduction of some form of PR (proportional voting)."

Default David (Lord) Owen, George Galloway MP, Labour, UKIP, Mr. Spink, Canvey Island, local

Small Parties control significant numbers of constituencies in the "Celtic" nations. - congratulations UKIP and well done Mr. Spink.
As I have pointed out several times in this thread to those predicting or implying that Mr. Bob Spink MP will not be able to hold his Castle Point constituency for UKIP at the next General Election:

Forecasts of defeat were made for David (Lord) Owen and for George Galloway MP after those two left the Labour Party to join newer, smaller parties.

Both went on to retain/win the seats they fought as candidates for those smaller parties.

UKIP MP Mr. Spink has an advantage that David Owen and Mr. Galloway did not have when they stood as candidates for the SDP and the Respect Party respectively: at Castle Point (Canvey Island in Essex) Mr. Spink now has a UKIP local party which has already fought that seat winning thousands of votes and almost beating the Liberal 'Democrats' there at the last General Election. David Owen and George Galloway had 'to start from scratch' in their constituencies when they quit the Labour Party. They still won - and if they can win with their small parties having no experience of previously fighting their constituencies then Mr. Spink can retain his seat with a local UKIP party which has already contested it at a General Election.

An independent who quit the Labour Party fought and won his constituency at the last General Election in south Wales.

Default Tory rebel

Early days for Mr Spunk who is known for indulging in Farage like activities of both sorts.
Can anyone bring me up to date with the long awaited sueing of the Sunday Times for its allegations against Farage
