Perhaps the party means fast growing in terms of the economic growth of the present members, not a growing number of members.

Indeed, the Commonwealth and all free trade nations are the future now!.
The EU is now out of date and yesterdays scrap pile.

There would be no problem implementing a set of policies like this - the amount of waste in the system now is phenomenal - not least, but not only, that caused by membership of the EU.

That may be true, but the main parties factor vast amounts of waste cutting into their sums I believe. I am not saying that we couldn't save billions, but I don't imagine that it is simple.

There are also repercussions to cutting waste - increased unemployment, decreased business profits etc. A lot of that waste is recycled in terms of tax and avoiding benefits payments, albeit in a massively inefficient way.

Anyway, this is all speculation until we see the official UKIP financial plans. It just seems odd that while the other parties are looking at potential cuts, UKIP is looking to increase spending by a huge amount (more than 1% of GDP)
