Default Attention London based UKIP members!!!

----Mayoral Campaign---------------------------

I would just like to extend my thanks to all those who have contributed both time and money to get this campaign off the ground.

There hass been a fantastic financial response from the national call for support to boost London's own effors to fund Gerard's Mayoral bid with a meaningful purse. It actually costs 39'000 pounds just to pay for the nomination fees for a full slate of candidates (which ensures that we will have a party election broadcast) and without this additional support London would have been hard pressed to put sufficient muscle behind the campaign but now we have enough to make a meaningful pitch and it will be down to the activists to turn out and make it happen. Everyone, please get behind your branch chairmen, and candidates and get out there...

Many thanks,
Ian Edwards
London UKIP Chairman

Please contact your local UKIP branch and they will bring a bunch of leaflets to your door (Gerard Batten mini manifesto) in which you can then deliver in letterboxes or give to friends or however else you might want to distribute.

I have received some leaflets today, it is a very concise well constructed leaflet. Once again it continues to make the point on the front page.
A vote for UKIP is also a vote to say:

NO to mass immigration
NO to the Lisbon Treaty/European Constitution
NO to the European Union

Our London policies as well as National Policies are ones that that I believe will appeal to a vast ammount of Londoners, however many people won't know we exist yet because the press coverage is mainly on the big 3 parties. It is the drive and passion of us all doing our bit which will propel us further up the ladder. Groundwork put in now can get reward later on when GE come along. Elections are always great times when people are open to politics and a great time to get potential new members. Lets all make an effort to get out there and help, however big or small - every little bit helps. If we want change in this country we have to all show the passion and play our part, otherwise he have no right to complain

There is a UKIP Bus going around London the last 2 weeks of the campaign. If you want to be on the bus and find out where it will be on any given day telephone 07892953263.

There are various stalls which will be set out all around London on every day from the 17th april to the 1st of may. To find out more about the Campaign timetable and how to get involved please email Ian Edwards (London UKIP chairman) - ian@ukipcroydon.co.uk
