Default Does anybody know what happened at the Bar Hill meeting?

It intrigues me that, after much publicity and promotion of the Bar Hill meeting, including round-robin emails, Titford advertising it on his website, other UKIP websites promoting it, June Press listing it as an event and most eurosceptic forum members being notified, there is still no indication anywhere of either the contents or the results of this meeting.

At least one forum member went, so why, when both the CIB and the Loxton meeting have been discussed and commented on, has there been no information forthcoming about the Eastern Counties' meeting?

After all, with such wonderful speakers as Lord Stoddart and Nigel Farage, surely some pearls of wisdom can be imparted.

Or did everybody have to sign the Official Secrets Act before they left? I think we should be told...

Wonderful. Seven days after the event and resounding silence on all fronts. Nothing posted on the eurosceptic fora, nothing in the way of a press release. If it hadn't been for one of this forum's members praising Lord Stoddart's speech, you'd be forgiven for believing the meeting had been cancelled.

Only 67 present I heard but this excluded organisers and speakers,so,perhaps only 80 or so as mentioned on here before.

Seems rather a poor showing to me,but,we will get numbers when someone posts feedback I expect.

I understand that Nigel is now planning to hold a meeting near to where Roger held his gathering of the faithful and not so faithful .Dangerous move in my opinion ,obviously he hopes to grind Roger`s nose in the dust if possible but it may rebound on him especially if the May elections go badly for UKIP.

None of my damn business I know ,just an outsiders view.

Sorry about the delay regarding any info on the Bar Hill meeting. As usual no conspiracy in sight.
Stuart Gulleford, the East Region press officer, went on holiday and has just returned.
I have have forwarded it to the UKIP website where it should appear shortly.
Regards

I do not understand your motives Petrina? You have turned your back on UKIP and have publicly stated your reasons on this forum, that is your business! So why not now give it a rest? There are a lot of UKIP activists who have not fallen out with the party leadership, who strongly believe UKIP is the "only" party that will take Britain out of the EU and are doing their level best to help the party succeed in that goal.
