Default Should UKIP MEPs only stand once?

Roger Knapman said one term is enough as a UKIP MEP. Do you agree?

The kind you put forward when what you really want to say is one of two things:
"I can't stand the other MEPs, and want to ensure that they can't be reselected"
or
"The MEPs are rubbish and we need to deselect them, but without looking like we are deselecting them".

That was the best of a thousand, after much photoshop enhancement.

You know how UKIP asks what are the benefits for the UK being in the EU?

Well members of UKIP need answers to the question, 'What are the benefits of having UKIP MEPs.

If it is accepted that they have no real influence on the management of the EU, and shouldn't use it anywway, it would be better if they were only allowed to serve one term. That way they won't get too comfy with the flash lifestyle the hardworking members of UKIP flogged themselves to get for them in the mistaken belief that there would be great benefit in terms of electability at General and Local Elections.

There are NO benefits to anyone except the MEP's themselves, if all UK MEP's were UKIP they would still be an insignificent 10% of the parliament. We should ALL be consentrating getting MP's to Westminster and not wasting money and time with the Euro elections.

And to answer the question: No. All members of the party should have equal access to the electoral process for everything (branch chairman; Leader; NEC; MEP list; etc) no matter what their current status.
