..but political fora are all about bile and anger as is all politics. I get called all sorts of names all of the time, but soldier on regardless.

Don't leave just yet, just don't join in the threads you don't like. You shouldn't, IMHO, have used the w... word as it causes offence to a lot of the older posters,

I avoid whole sections of the forum; that's one solution.

The bile and anger should be directed at the other parties, not our own kind. Sorry, but it's too depressing watching all the infighting between people who are supposedly on the same side. I'm sorry, but if you support independence from the EU then gloating at difficulties faced by the leadership of UKIP isn't a productive way to achieve your goal. Better to keep you mouth shut and outwait them. Remember if you don't hang together, you'll hang seperately.

As for the W word - if it wasn't too exotic and offensive for my 50 or 60 year old rugby coaches to bellow at us on the rugby pitch many years ago, it should fit in just fine on a forum where I am told bile and anger are to be expected.

Anyways this is my final post on this matter, and on the forum.

I can only agree with Alex. Poor judgement once under provocation, not the end of the world. As a dedicated UKIP member you put many of the Trolls and malcontents to shame. Please continue to post as without your input this board is likely to become even less UKIP friendly.

Quietly return to your computors, don't distress yourselves. Just think of Mr Chamberlain's Sunday morning broadcast: try and be stoic, depite what mrabody has done. Time is a great healer.

I've never met either Mark Croucher and Douglas Denny and whilst I'm glad they are in the party I really wish they would learn to be magnanimous towards others, and try build a bigger tent rather than attacking others in an intemperate and embarrassing manner.

You might be upset perhaps of my poking fun at good old Geoffrey. But we are chums, I assure you. Poking fun at him is par for the course - everyone does it. He loves it, he likes the attention.

The best way of looking at/using this medium is as a big laugh. Anything worthwhile/useful that comes along in changing your perspective or political world view is to be considered a bonus.

Now don't go running off in a huff 'cos everyone is being nasty to you. I'm not being nasty to you am I? .... and I'm the only one you should be listening to anyway with anything worthwhile to say ....(!!?)
