Douglas Denny: You have been making this accusation for years. (1) I have never EVEN met Greg Lance-Watkins. (2) I have never transmitted anything to him, either directly or indirectly. (3) Although you constantly make the accusation, the subject matter in question, appears unknown to you. Keep reading Tam O'Shanter, leave the more compex, 'stuff' to others.
Nothing about the last NEC meeting has been communicated to me. All I said was, if an important document has been put into the public domain, we are justified in assuming that it was done correctly; i.e. throught the NEC. Should that not be the case, I apologise and that hope you are able to find the individual who produced such an unprofessional document and disseminated it without authority. You can't have the argument all ways. As the American philosopher Henry Thoreau once said, 'Irrefutable circumstantial evidence, is when you find fish in the milk'. There's a lot of fish in the NEC's milk, Douglas. Time and time again you justify your own opinions on the basis of what you heard in the NEC. You're the perfect source from whom we get our information; don't start letting us down now, Douglas. I'm sure that your NEC colleagues must get exasperated with you! |

DED is follicly challenged. He therefore feels significant angst against those with demonstrably ample cranial hair.

OK, DED,are you sure about what you have said above? I am at a loss that you are seriously saying on here that there are some UKIP NEC Members who have absolutely no interest in UKIP or the Country at heart, like the rest of the NEC do? Well then, from what you say,if these people are undermining UKIP and its cause, and you are therefore fully aware of who they are, could you please name these people immediately so that such persons can be removed instantly from both the NEC and from UKIP? |

There have been a number of them pass through the portals of the NEC in my time and thankfully left. Quote:
The kind of disruptive influence I mean is always there in all walks of life including political parties - in fact especially in political parties. Quote:
They deserve to stay where they are because they are elected and have a mandate to be disruptive if that's what they insist on doing. That doesn't justify their deliberately disruptive influence however, as being in any way useful to the party and/or cause. They no doubt think they are being useful in their mind without awareness of the greater consequences. Also: with luck, they might just learn a bit after a while, see the light of sweet reason, recant, and thus to be more positive in the future. It is a fact that the vast majority I have met on the NEC have a very positive desire to be helpful to the greater cause and the party and are genuinley positive towards getting business done efficiently and for the greater good. On the other hand, the various others who have displayed this "difficult" behaviour are still a bl...y nuisance to the rest. Someone who votes consistently against everything put forward regardless of the propositions, for example, might be considered to be suspect in their motives. DED. - P.S. Contrary to rumour my bonce is hirsuite. (Except for a small bald patch I'm cultivating on my crown). Last edited by douglas denny; 18-04-2008 at 06:27 PM. |

Looked, but could not find "European Elections" mentioned on home page. If there, not easily found - not staring me in the face anyway. DED. |
