Wasn't Wise suspended for not disclosing that Olaf were investigating him rather than the alleged offence?
Despite great damage done to the party we must always support 'innocence until proven guilty'--------to do otherwise is to adopt the system we are striving to avoid in Europe. What you must understand is that all it takes is for some dissident to write to Olaf alleging an MEP has committed a breach of rules etc for them then to be able to say Olav are investigating that MEP. This has been the case re Wise ,Beds Police and the PCC. eg Pony tailed pot bellied bnp supporter complains to police police don't act Pony tailed pot bellied bnp supporter complains to PCC of police inaction Pony tailed pot bellied bnp supporter then says that police and PCC are both looking into case. Pony tailed pot bellied bnp supporter emails all and sundry This is then followed by emails to all and sundry by people kicked out of UKIP for BNP links |

If Mr Wise is foung guilty by OLAF then he should resign. However, I do not like the Farage's and Reeve's of this party adopting the attitude that you are guilty till proven innocent. I thought that the EU's legal system was opposed by UKIP?

I have to agree with Petwina with his first statement TW was indeed suspended for not informing Nigel of the fact that an investigation had been under way for some time .I believe that NF found out via an article by Foggo. It was discussed on this forum at the time and there was some sympathy for NF .
It seems to have been confirmed by a number of sources that Nigel is now himself under investigation by OLAF but no one is saying what for .It would appear that Nigel did not know that he was being investigated therefore his denial was made in ignorance .I am no longer in the party but if I were I would feel that it is appropriate for the members to know what and why the leader is being investigated so that there can be no argument re the different rules for goose and gander . Incidentally Petwina if you are whom I now believe to be ,who are you to talk re pot bellies ? |

'Petwina' was also a UKIP cheque signatory back in the days of Andrew Smith's reign as treasurer. You know from his posts where 'Petwina's' loyalties lie. You now know why those loyalties lie where they do, and why he defends what he defends. And his remark about a cancer sufferer tells you all you need to know about the man.

Politicians must be seen to be 'whiter than white'.

"Whiter than white"?
Farage promised (like all the other MEPs) not to employ his family. He employed his wife. Not even his own SE office knew about this until they read about it in the Sunday Times, so we can assume that she was not all that engaged in his work... I have heard that even Kirsten first learned about this from the Sunday press. He has denied repeatedly that he employed his son, but he has carefully never denied that his son was employed. Lets see the text of his letter to the Sunday Times, because I would bet that he does not deny it there either. (Actually, If I took such a bet I could be accused of 'insider trading'...) So what are the promises of this "leader" worth? This man who falls down drunk in bars (As reported in the Independent), and who employs the 'personal' services of east european lap dancers (as reported in NoW), what are his "promises" actually worth? What about his promise to the NEC to get a retraction from the Sunday Times? The weeks pass, and where is the retraction? Like all his promises.... It was worth nothing. |

The abusive over the top writings of G-LW tell you all you need to know about him big C or not .Those that consort with and defend him show serious lack of judgement------thankfully they mostly reside in the black hole of the (LIVING ON)Benefits Nobody Party .
