I know and like Del and so I am sure he will forgive me for saying this.
His speech started excellently but drifted into rather unnecessary detail. In the middle, it felt a little ... Del-centric. Since I know Del, I know that he not like that. He is a very good speaker though and isn't afraid to speak his mind. Star, Del and Farage do not see eye-to-eye but I am sure they both respect one another.

I'm sure he is a valuable member, and this speech was OK, but cliches and rather general - 'fighters not talkers', 'professional level'.
Also too much 'I have appointed ...', 'I want to see...', 'I will make a decision to remove them...'. Not much to indicate he was going to do anything much more than be a directing figure-head - i.e. not going to lead the troops from the front. I would be interested to see how he responds to live debate. (Much better than me I'm sure!) Last edited by eublues; 31-03-2008 at 08:01 AM. |
