Just noticed Lisa's response, agree it is an excellent response. Let's hope that puts an end to a rather paranoid thread.

[quote=Michael Heaver;482307]Below is an official statement from Young Independence Co-ordinator Lisa Duffy. Lisa will not be replying further on this forum. If you would like to speak to Lisa further her contact details are in the statement.

Getting the Facts Correct.

MEP- I have not made a decision one way or the other about the Euro elections and have never been approached by Nigel or any other MEP regarding standing. I will let you know when I have.

Not true. Mr Farage spoke to you about becoming an MEP. He made you Director Of Young Independence in order to raise your profile for that reason. Both you and Peter Reeve have told certain members in the East that you want to be an MEP.

That is hearsay, hardly evidence of anything. I am finding this thread to be very tedious. If you, Star have a problem with Lisa do as she suggests and phone her.
Lisa spent last weekend at the Northwest Spring conference in Morecombe. Quite a commitment for a full time mum who also holds down a responsible job, this in addition to her work with YI her standing for locals and being a PPC.
I feel tired just listing what she does, can you claim to have worked so hard for the party?
Regardless of whether she puts herself forward or not, I would support her a 100% to be an MEP.
If you are indeed a UKIP member, it would be beneficial if you would stop insulting one of the hardest working members we have.

I agree with Lisa. Now, can we please let her get on with the job, and not keep having to avoid falling stars?
