Del will always be appreciated as the one who brought the YI into being.

How much is too much? If it is thousands or many hundreds then perhaps that is fair enough. If it is a few hundreds or less then it is completely ludicrous and unacceptable especially considering the most recent Farage blog posting about the importance of youth to UKIP. If, say, £50 will keep the youth site open please PM the account I can donate it to. Thanks. I can't really afford that (no sobs) but it would be a truly worthy donation in my view.

The conspirators might conclude that the accurate revelation by Star about closing down the youth website and the Farage blog comment about the importance of youngsters to UKIP are closely connected. I can't rule out the/my implied conspiracy view on this one.

ryansoton, if you don't want anything to do with young independence then how about not posting on a YI topic.

Wayne, that comment shows a lack of maturity and leadership. If ryansoton wishes to post on any topic, he is entitled to do so. If you disagree with his views, may I suggest that you hone your debating skills by articulating them in a less petulant way.

chikrodah - Very well put !!
Wayne needs to remember that this is not the YI forum but an open forum where ryansoton & every one else can give their opinions,
However I was surprised that such a mild critisism of YI by ryansoton would elicit such a rude reply. Clash of personalities perhaps

Fact: The Young Independence website was not costing too much money.

Fact: Farage and Duffy want it closed down because Mr Young started it.

Fact: Young Independence is not doing as well as Duffy claims. The hundreds of new members she promised to get have yet to appear.

FACT: 'Star' doesn't know what he/she/it is talking about.

FACT: when last I heard YI had over 50 members within the few weeks Lisa Duffey took over the show. ... Not bad for starters.... !

You really haven't got a clue.
