INDEPENDENT UKIP: BOO candidates should not be imposed upon branches, on the basis of some agreement to which those branches were not a party.

Bill Cash was offering all M.Ps' an opportunity to make the final decision, on those matters, which could result from a perverse decision, by the EU Commission's interpretation of the Lisbon Treaty, on some future occasion.
You can cite all of glorious names of Conservative MP's, but always remember, it was their Party, which got us into this mess. Hoping that the Alsation which bit you, will return to lick your wounds, is sheer phantasy.
How foolish can human beings become!

BOO, contains no mechanism within the agreement, to ensure compliance by BOO candidates, once they have been elected. Where is the element of reciprocity in this agreement? Let us look at what we already know. (1)
It cannot be enforced and there is no redress. (2) Retaining the 'Sovereignty of Parliament', clause was overwhelmingly rejected. (3) The Conservatives, like Labour and the Lib-Dems, want to increase the geographical and population size of the EU, by the admission of Turkey. If some local branch wishes to step aside, on the basis of their local and personal knowledge of a particular candidate, so be it. But even then, proof of commitment and loyalty to the cause, must be the first and great commandment. Evidence, evidence, evidence: that must be the basis for all agreements.

In this life you fight your own battles; you cannot abdicate your own responsibilities and duties, by appointing others as the custodians of your own conscience.

That's what I thought the point of BOO was. We don't stand against them because they fight in the interests of the Nation, if they show any pro-EU inclinations then they should be removed from the list and we stand against them.
