They wouldn't have let him on if they didn't have some barbs to stick in him while there.

That's indeed possible

In which case he should have had a much shorter answer prepared so that he didn't spend five minutes explaining why he needed to employ his wife.

Can we expect a retraction this Sunday?

Or maybe we might find some discussion about MEPs who pay their pension contributions out of their Parliamentary allowances....

Default United Kingdom

I notice that the Evening Standard published an apology to Bob Spink in its Tuesday edition. That makes 2 apologies from the media to Spink. It vindicates him whatever you think about the man and makes the media a lot more careful about printing incorrect facts in future. Editors dont smile on journalists for whom they keep having to apologize.
And where does this leave Nigel Farage-perhaps he could get Spink to advise him on how to get the media to retract the'lies 'told about Farage, his mistresses, sado masochism, employment of wife, son, olaf investigations etc etc.

God knows, Farage desperately needs some good advice!

At the moment he is dependent for advice upon a bunch of old Tories, his mistress, a press officer who is a convicted fraudster, and a dodgy bisexual..

Charlie I can only agree with you, Farage did agree that family members were not employed by UKIP MEP's, but then like Brown's referendum promise, the attitude appears to be 'I'm in charge, I do as I like'
