I can't speak for someone else. However, It is not against UKIP rules for someone to be a officer of another branch especially, and it it is beneficial, if they are the PPC with an excellant track record there.
As branch Chairman have you ever contacted her directly? Do you send out a local newsletter? Didn't you ever think..umm she got result she might help us I'll give her a call. No you didn't you would rather spend your time moaning and let your branch stagnate |

Then, why isn't it? The party constitution says: "Where constituency associations are established, membership shall be of the local Parliamentary constituency association and, by affiliation of the constituency association, of the national Party". Therefore, whether this member actually attends BA's meetings or not, she is still a member of his association, still entitled to vote or stand for election to his committee, and still entitled to vote in the selection of a UKIP candidate for that constituency. Yet she has apparently also become chairman of a UKIP constituency association of which she is not a member. Why is this allowed? There is of course no reason why she cannot be selected as PPC for the second constituency, but in an organisation which claims to be professional and democratic she should not be able to exercise her membership rights in multiple constituency associations whereas other party members can only do so once. As the constitution takes priority over the rule book, and the constitution says membership shall be of the local association, her chairmanship of the second association is clearly unconstitutional and invalid. Or is the position not as I have stated? |

Did the membership of Ladywood phone her up and ask her to form a branch, did the NEC phone her up and ask her to stand i doubt it she managed all of this but couldn't attend a local meeting. "So i let my branch stagnate" yep thats why i turn up at every meeting even when no one else bothers, thats why i was the campaign manager at the last general election, thats why i stood in the last local elections, thats why i used my own finances to host our website, thats why i have stayed up until 2 in the morning printing 5,000 leaflets, thats why i have leafleted my whole constituency on more than one occasion, thats why i have distributed 2,000 CIB leaflets, thats why i have traveled to a bye election to help leaflet, thats why i have written to my local papers a dozen odd times with some success(the last one was printed only last week defending Mikes piece on the Lisbon treaty) I could go on but i feel its getting boring now. So yes i suppose i am letting my branch stagnate perhaps i should give up my job get a well paid position in Ukip and then maybe just maybe i will be like the paragon of virtue you set yourself up to be.
