New Labour has an active programme of radical social engineering covering all aspects of UK society while other parties stand aside and let them do it unhindered, with occasional handwringing.
Noting Paul Nuttall's article on the UKIP website regarding the Institute of Education opposition to patriotism being a subject in schools, I thought good job in raising it and noted the hand wringing but wondered what UKIP is doing about the many such things in education. I looked to see which UKIP figure has the EDUCATION portfolio to lobby selected local authorities for counterbalance material in schools to New Labour' pro EU pro P.C agendas. Result ..no one listed with the Education portfolio. Portfolios listed are International Trade Economics/Monetary ,Defence/Security, Budgets, Agriculture, Regional Development, Internal Markets , Consumer Protection. No one with portfolios on crime , local government issues and a string of other aspects of concern to peoples' lives. This is not a "one man band" NF media exposure issue, but one of MEPs & key volunteers with a representation , Minister challenge and alternative agenda impact planning roles etc. UKIP detached ? |
