End of this week's show Marr announced that 'Europe' would be covered next week and said that 'Nigel Farage of UKIP' would be on the show.

Default Biased pro-EU BBC, Mr. Farage, minutes, air, programme, interviews, europhile guests

"Europe will be covered" - coming from the biased pro-EU BBC that means that Mr. Farage will probably get a couple of minutes on air and the rest of the programme will be taken up by interviews with europhile guests .

Brown was pathetically weak on this on the Politics Show today. No one (with more than 12 brain cells) could have been pursuaded by him.

Could be that contentment with the New Lab/Lib Dem line on this not being a constitution is running out.

I know! If I was the journalist I'd have made myself the most successful overnight, anyone could have torn him limb from limb!

Default Brown's claim, EU Constitution, Labour, Prime Minister, problems, slump, polls, local

Apart from the falseness of Brown's claim that the EU 'Amending' Treaty is not the EU Constitution, perhaps he was tired when he appeared on the 'Politics Show'.

He cannot possibly have imagined when took over as Labour leader and Prime Minister last Summer that his party would run into so many problems and slump in the national opinion polls so quickly after he moved into 10 Downing Street.

He is probably also worried about the coming local and London Mayoral/Assembly elections ( to be held in May 2008) - if his party does not do well in those local elections and if it loses more seats on the London Assembly (as is possible) it will put further pressure on him just over a year before next year's EU Elections.

They were fed up, agreed! Unfortunately, "they" are not a true representation of Joe and Jane Public! The fact that they appeared in the QT audience shows they have an interest in politics! Nationwide there is only a very small percentage of the population interested in politics, or for that matter who govern them! If Joe and Jane public had been vaguely interested in politics, successive British governments would have never got away with the "Con" of handing Britain over to be governed by an unelected Foreign political elite sitting in Brussels. Thick Joe and Jane Public are so dumbed down with "Soaps" and "Football", they are "heaven sent" for any con the politicians feel like pulling!

Default The Guvnah's Top Tip; always pick the right tool for the job

I hope N.F. gets a good 10 minute shout at least. I'm not a UKIP voter but this being their particular subject they MUST be invited to put the case.

Hmmm... Mr. Marr! This would be the same journo who called for "vigourous miscegenation" as the only solution for the UK and opined that "if you stamp down hard enough on individual thought you can eventually supress them" (or words to that effect.)

Have to agree on Brown's 'performance' on the Politics Show, Soapy could've/should've handed his **** back to him on a plate but of course that is not the purpose of the BBC is it.

Did anyone catch David Millibrain the week before informing us that...

Quote:
"...the EU Treaty is there for MPs to erm...er...scrutinize then pass"
So no option is to be entertained that it might (or indeed could) be thrown out, voted down or altered then. I have a tool that will put a 3" masonry nail through a paving slab David, some day I hope to interpose your wedding veg between the two...and then raffle off the slab.

"NEXT PLEASE!"

"The Guvnah will see you now Mr. Marr, just straight through there."

"Ah Mr. Marr do come in, I'm just warming up the red hot jacksie pokers at the moment but I think we can get started right away. Nurse could you fit the Scrotmax DX450 knacker-nailer with the earlobe stapling attachment and I'll need you to prep the larger pipe wrench and pillar drill for me?"
