hi there,

just an idea, if you do accept the 1m, some of which comes from me. why dont you think of putting it to good use rather than spending it on your own job creation and funding?

my political views are somewhat inbetween all parties, as i see it, its like a dodgy car sales yard, all the cars are shoddy, not one of them is legit, but you have to pick one of them. it seems labour are the equiv' to an old ford, badly built but popular and now its finally giving up the ghost. conservative, well, they're like an old volvo, dull, drab and about as modern as suffering in the wake of labour, liberal, a smart car. ukip, well, most of my friends (a very large circle) view them as something like a kia - good intentions but never going to be any good.

so with this 1m thats been offered, why not think about putting it to use to strengthen your intentions? if only it was enough to put that excuse for toilet paper out of business (daily wail)

regards

I'd sooner get rid of the Grauniad thanks.

Obviously UKIP is going to use the money to boost its own position.

but thats short sighted? ie immediate gain

surely investing in the uk, so the whole nation goes 'f*ck me, look what UKIP did, they invested 1m in XYZ which had a positive effect on the nation' would make people think i'll vote for them

or, as is, they 'boost their own position' meaning you change car and dont have to travel cattle-class to london with the rest of the average joe's?

you'd rather see the guardian gone? why? please dont tell me its better than the **** paper???

haha, most amusing. you'd keep the mail over the guardian. jeez, thats funnier than my local comedy club.

Mostly because a) the Grauniad pays Polly Toynbee b) The Grauniad writes the biggest load of indoctrinating ****

and by boost own position I mean improve electoral performance. We're not champagne socialists, unlike those in the Liebour Party.

You sound like a Lib Dim.

ok, fair point!

the thing is, i was brought up with a keen focus on politics, it bored me silly as a child, now, i'm older i pay shed loads of taxes and not entirely impressed with the way the country is run. now, my parents were uber conservative, all of my friends are lib dem / green party / have no interest.

so while my questions may seem a little harsh at times, its through a lack of understanding as to ukip and its values.

all of my peers see ukip as some new-hitler, now this isnt the post to discuss that - hence my other post 'ukip who'

No problem .

If you support lower taxes, then UKIP is definitely the Party for you.

Indeed. UKIP is the largest party that wants to lower taxes. Shocking isn't it?

A vote only counts when you know it can change laws and the allocation of public spending not just send the same lump of tax payers money to different pollsters, printers and PR firms.

It would encourage me not to vote (if there were no EDP candidate) as I wouldn't want to give money as well as credence to any other political party.
