BBC 1 Television's 10 pm news bullletin just said (at 10.17 pm) "The UK Independence Party has called for immigration to be stopped for the next five years. Nigel Farage MEP, the party leader, speaking at his party's annual conference said that immigration was a mess and was leading to community tensions."
Mr. Farage was shown walking on to the conference platform to make his speech. Duration of the report on BBC 1 Television 10 pm news: 20 seconds. |

An immigration policy is forever, not just for an election!!
If it is long term then there is now no reason for Ukip & the BNP not to join forces, or even amalgamate, for the General Election, London Mayor Election, London Assembley & Euro 2009 election. Calling one party racist now just does not wash anymore after this NF party statement. Standing against each other is futile, besides, membership of both Unionist parties have more in common than say Ukip/English Democrats SNP!. If, together, they stand in the general election marginals and destroy the Conservatives & fight Labour/EU, then they would become the opposition. There is light at the end of the tunnel. |
